Visual Perceptual skills

Visual Perception- Brain’s ability to make sense of what the eyes see

Visual Perceptual skills involve the ability to systematize and understand the information seen by the individual. Visual perceptual skills are an essential component for excellent academic performance, and they also play a vital role in our day to day activities. These skills give a balance on what we perceive and how we interpret the data to meaningful action. Children need this for reading, writing, buttoning, drawing, and many more activities that require these skills to be balanced to have a significant effect. Visual perceptual ability also has subcomponents, and each component has its importance.

Those kids who struggle in these skills have concerns regarding there reading, writing issues, dependent on ADL, copying from the blackboard, and many more.
